meade916
This was just an idea i had when i sent out 2 of my alts for chroming and ended up buying another one....i decided to see if i had the room and guess what, i do! Just gotta see if i can pull this off. This is what they looked like when they came back. Doms the MAN! Apparantly all of these alts exceeded the 300 mark and now im looking at 1000 amps of current available.....THANKS DOM! (Iraggi alts of course!) Bought some 1/4 Aluminum from a metal supplier in town and took this to FBI Customs to have them turn my cardboard templates for the bracket into the real thing. im a little busy on the honda but ive got a few things in the works for the Tahoe too just wish i had 8 arms Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! Bumpin_Focus
Wow, thats crazy. So are they all hooked up now?And in your opinion, which would be a better upgrade for me. Another battery or a bigger alt? Only electrical upgrades I have right now is the Big 3. Also my stock alt on the Focus is like 95 amps haha honestly. dmz2711
hey meade, this may be a dumba*s question, but where do the wires coming off each alternator go? i know one is probably ignition, maybe one to a gauge ???if each wire, i think there are 4 of them go to a certain place, do you just solder all 3 of them together (from each alt) and connect it to the needed location or how is it done?? thanks Quote Nobody makes me bleed my own blood, NOBODY!!! meade916
actually each "bolt" is a battery+ and on the plug itself, for my particular application, i only use the two inner wires. The Red and the on furthest to the other side are not used at all. The two in the middle all run parallel with each other then go to the stock "two" wires.... dmz2711
Ok thanks, let me get this straight.... the bolt in this picture with the washers is where you run your power wire to either the front battery, or rear batteries. And you ground to the aluminum piece that you had cut out as it is the alternator bracket correct ??? Quote Nobody makes me bleed my own blood, NOBODY!!! meade916
sorry i forgot to reply....yes that is correct the big bolt is where the big + cable goes.....and ill probably have a ground or 2 or 3 on the bracket somewhere Ill do what i can to get a bigger belt.....i might be able to find one. I can also re-route the serpantine belt to my advantage as well.Ill see when i get to that point.
