JSE
Just ordered a pair of Shok Buds, will give my own review of them when they come in. All the reviews I've read make them out to be incredible, especially for the low price. http://www.caraudioclassifieds.org/forum/car-audio-product-reviews/102861-shokbuds-%5Bsonics-review%5D.html http://www.caraudioclassifieds.org/forum/car-audio-product-reviews/99694-review-shok-industries-ear-bud-splaudiohz.html And they have just received an upgrade http://www.caraudioclassifieds.org/forum/shok-ind/103406-shok-buds-just-got-upgrade.html Keep me in mind when you get them =) EDIT: I own both of these http://m.klipsch.com/products/productdetail/Image+S4+Black+In-Ear+Headphones/part_number=1010471/3579.0.1.1.75768.18062.0.0.0?pp=8& http://www.klipsch.com/custom-3 The s4's sound great, the bass response is good, and they won't break the bank. The custom 3's sound amazing you can close your eyes and it's like being in the room with who ever your listing to, but they were pricey when I picked them up and a quick google search only had a used pair on amazon Damn those custom 3's look like they were pretty good... Diggin the s4's for android I will look into it some more. Thanks! Doesn't look like I have any fans for the V-Moda. They seem like a solid earbud all metal construction and they don't use those rubber covered wires. Seems like they put more money into the wire and case than the speaker haha. Supercharged DCs
Yessir. I may end up buying a set for James to review as well, if my experience with them goes good. liljestrand
If you have a chance to damage them why do you want to spend so much on them. Personally I just buy the 10$ skullcandies. But mine get wet or damaged quite often Quote Team B2 2008 scion xb bagged on 18's plastidipped matte black 4 18" b2 xc's pushed by 4 b2 m1s at .5 each 8 b2 hn6's and 2 b2 hntt's powered by 2 b2 quattros. 157.7 sealed so far. 412 CVX
412 where your fb link? The mods don't like it when you advertise in your signature. i will admit, the first time i definitely was advertising, and that was my fault completely. but the second time they took it down, i simply had a link to the facebook page. apparently that's considered advertising too. i suppose i understand where they're coming from, but the fact that RAM Designs (just for examples sake) has something that could easily be considered advertising in his signature makes me question the fairness of this whole ordeal. i'm not gonna rebel or complain about it, the mods did what they thought was necessary. it's not worth getting banned over. it is what it is and i'm just gonna roll with it. /end threadjack OP if i may make a suggestion, i've personally owned and loved the klipsch S2 earbuds. they were extremely comfortable, and the sound was incredible across the entire spectrum (especially the lows) and this was their lowest end model. I had a buddy who purchased the S4i's and he is in love with them as well. IIRC the frequency response went to 15hz or below, but definitely below hearing range. they come with a little carrying case that resembles an altoids tin. it also has microphone, so it comes in handy if your media player is your phone. The S4i's will run you about $100 The S4's will run you about $79 i couldn't find a link to the S2's. i think they might be a discontinued model possibly replaced with the S3's Edited November 8, 2011 by 412 CVX Quote Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs. xXsquintyeyesXx
The SQ from my P Diddy Beats by Dre is amazing. And they have taken a beating. They also still shake your head. The only downside is that they are so heavy since they are made of metal and leather. I usually have those and some skullcandy inks. The inks come with a year warranty, they are super light, and they bass is heavy.
AI James
shok buds are junk, so are the DD buds. new or old they are made terrible. AQ buds are trash as well. if your looking for over ear Grado sr125 is good for open ear and Audiotechnica m50 is a good sealed back set of cans If your looking for buds dont waste your time on anything beats related and get some far better ones. Checkout head-fi for some reviews on GOOD sets of cans and buds rather then the crap that car audio companies are trying to slang.
