adam6604 Posted November 25, 2011 Report Share Posted November 25, 2011 how'd you guys think 2 15" Skar's in a custom ported box ( your package deal ) tuned to 33-35hz compare to my 2 15" RE SX's i already have? could the skars handle a HifonicsBRZ2400.1D? im really wanting to run Skar but dont think it would be louder then my RE's... unless you guys are willing to make /ship a box for 4 12's lol Driving my 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 MEGA cab with the 5.7 hemi. Audio: Two 10" Alpine Type R's ( 1000rms models ) Hifonics BRZ 2400.1D @ .5 ohm Two Kinetic 1400 batteries ( soon to have XS power under hood ) Tsunami 1/0 Awg wire throughout truck. Stock Infinity 7 speaker system ( Junk ) soon to be replaced, probably all Alpine. Exterior: 17"Dick cepek rims with 33" Toyo MT tires Bushwacker fender flares Magnaflow true duel exhaust LED tail lights with Projector headlights Plasti-dip fun coming soon! As far as 2 15's being louder then your RE SX's - there are so many things that can factor into a setup being "Louder" than another - we never will tell you one thing is going to be "Louder" then another. We can tell you that the custom boxes we do build and ship with our subwoofers are extremely high quality and built specifically for the SKAR subs for maximum performance.
