Miguels
I don't see it being a problem either especially since I'm sure you'll keep an eye on it and keep it clean. exactly.. if it was a a big issue then they wouldn't sell CCA.. all cca has copper in it could be 10% or some might have more but still if it was an issue they would sell straight aluminum wire without copper in it.. my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/

CCA and OFC are in a jack and are usually 99% oxygen free much less water.

STEvil
Just clear coat the connection and you'll be fine. Even Plastidip works good. MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..." Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed. OrionStang
Some of these youngsters are getting too "school" smart. I've had the same copper wire attached to the same aluminum blocks on my rear battery for over a year. Both the wire and the terminal show no signs of erosion.
