06RTCharger Posted April 19, 2018 Report Share Posted April 19, 2018 Got some stuff in today and took a Lowes run. Needed some longer ratchets 3/8 and 1/2 drives and torque wrench. Also these hose clamps and plumbers non-split loom will be used for running my 4/0 from the engine bay to the passenger foot well grommets. It'll be on the BL and you can see what i mean. These clamps will be to secure the cables to the top portion of the inner wheel well, above the plastic whell well liner. I got these fast rings to try to alter them more to my liking, i want a more satelite/cone shape, not a cylindrical tube shape. I feel like the tube shape might hinder a lil bit of the off axis response. Seems like a tube over the speaker would beam the sound more (not ideal for speakers that are off axis, i think), maybe if its just a short distance ( <1inch) from the speaker to the door panels speaker grill then it won't matter much. Got some crimp caps for future wiring. Also got speaker harness adapters for the stock speaker plugs. So i can keep things quick disconnect style.
