UnderLoK
This is bullshit. There is no fucking way that peel and seal is not hte shit. You rigged this. Fuck your transducer and all that scientific testing equipment mumbo jumbo. Peel and seal and spray foam for life. Exactly but as seen you need only 5 layer of PnS matching right up with that other products so thats obviously better deal why the test are all stupid. poorfish88
I wish I'd had better knowledge back when I used Roadkill. Shit back then I thought they were all about the same. Man was I wrong, but I'm not even thinking about removing it. My next truck is gettin Damplifier Pro or Alpha.
Nine8SST
I would be curious to see how many layers of peel n seal it takes to get the same result as the cld....if it's even possible. And then a cost comparison between the total amount of pns used compared to cld for the same result.....since cost seems to be the reason people use pns. Perhaps they would use the correct product when they visually see the cost effectiveness? LoudBimmer
Peel and seal FTW. Got around 4 layer on my trunk and from what this test shows you could have gotten better results with only one layer of cld mat Also got a box of alpha damp waiting to be installed

POPLERO
I complete agree with single layer tests like this.. but for the money I triple layer my roof and I got good results, on the other hand never tried anything else. Down fall is I had a real hard time with adhesion on my roof even after I clean and everythng.. maybe if second skin would cut smd members a nicer deal, I would really switch over... jmo. 1 Quote 2008 TBSS Black Granite Alpine CDA-117 Clarion EQS746 AudioQue Supertweets @ dash Alpine DDT-s30 @ b pillars Alpine SPR-60c @ front doors Alpine SPR-60 @ rear doors Alpine PDX-f4 Second Skin DampPro KNUkonceptz Wiring DCpower 270amp alt Optima YT underhood *temp Two15DCxls Hifonics bxi2610 *temp saz4500 and 4 xp3000s coming soon. Perhaps they would use the correct product when they visually see the cost effectiveness? Hmm... didn't think about that. I still have it all setup, so I'll give it a shot first thing in the morning and see how much it does take to get roughly the same results as 25% CLD. I'll start with two layers of P&S and test. EDIT: Screw it, going to go test right now because I'm curious.... Edited November 23, 2011 by Second Skin Rep Jon Quote Have a question about Second Skin? E-Mail me!
