And just about done. Good news and bad news. Good news: I can now monitor my voltage. Bad news: My voltage.

:)

It's fun trying things I have never tried before and learning what I did wrong and how to do it better in the future. For this, my plan for making the seam between the Lexan and the panel look good didn't work out as well as I had hoped, but it isn't awful. You can also see some of the mounting tabs when the sun hits the Lexan just right. Neither of those are a deal breaker and in the end the VM-1 works and looks pretty good where it is installed. However, learning some more tricks and skills will make jobs like these go from looking decent to looking professional. Live and learn right? Anyway...on to pics!!

out of the car, but in the console. The seam is NOT finished here, you can still see the plain silicone.

In the car, car ON. Panel is NOT seated all the way, on purpose. It does fit flush however.

i got tired real quick of being able to see through the tint. You could see glue and the mounts though the lexan. So I decided to blast it with some paint except right over the read out and this is what I ended up with...it's not crazy good by any means but it works, is 100% functional and doesn't look like total shit, just partial shit :)

Finally got around to re-adjusting my gains. I tuned the amp with the DD-1 but had to back the gains down because a T400.4 was a bit much for a single T1652-s component set. Or at least I thought it was. Since then, I have completely redone my front stage and never got around to setting the gains accordingly. So I figured the weather was decent so why not. Went ahead and re-did my sub amp gain since I was re-doing everything anyway. My amps are below the seats and you have to take the seats out to unhook any wires. So I figured why not do a time lapse and see what it looks like. So here it is...kinda boring...kinda not.

Added an ipad mount so I didn't have to use the volume knob to scroll through my iPod. I don't have to fiberglass skills to build it into my dash so I bought a mount and it works well.
