Here goes the audio history of my car. There has been 3 complete builds and one just thrown in. The thrown in version was a couple JL 8s in a old box I sat in the trunk area. Took those out as soon as I bought the JL 12.

The build have been these: All have utilized the factory H/U

1st build:

JL Audio VR650 components

JL Audio 12W0v2 sub

Rockford T400-4

2nd build:

Rockford T1562-2 components

DC Audio level 2 12"

Rockford T400-4

Rockford 3Sixty.2

3rd (and current) build:

Rockford T1652-s components

2 DC Audio level 4 12s (TFS versions, Igors)

Rockford T400-4

Rockford T1500-1BDCP

Rockford 3Sixty.2

Onto the Pics, I will put them in order too. With some videos to boot!

Now onto the DC Audio level 2, 3sixty.2 and RF mids and highs upgrades. Aparently I didn't take any pics of the 3Sixty being installed. It was next to the box.

First, JL vs DC level 2

Vids of the DC level 2 and RF mids and highs:

a little VS with the JL and RF mids and highs. Didn't work too well but oh well:

With a level 4 preview :)

Then came the BIG upgrade (for me anyway). 2 Level 4 12s (igors, TFS editions) and RF 1500 constant power. Now that my 4 channel isn't running a sub any longer, I am using all 4 channels for my mids and highs. Using the bi-amp inputs on the crossovers in conjunction with the 3sixty.2 gives me TONS of time alignment and EQing options. I opted to leave the crossover points up to the people at RF and use the passive crossovers in the mix. I use the 3sixty to set the lowpass point for the 6.5s, but other than that, all passive.

Pics!

First, peek at my level 4s and amp :)

Finishing up the box, new amp install (also under a seat, driver side) and new 3sixty location. What does all this equal? A virutally stealth 142.7db install! That was a while ago, I'm guessing I am up to a 143 at least now.

Bracing...over board...maybe...
