skyhighcaraudio
Cody: I can do the test with 1 12k once it gets done. That won't be a problem and we can see. But my box will be small for the amount of power they will b seeing on 1 12k. Either way I can do it. I'll be building a large angle wall in the box so initial testing will be with a larger box and as the angle wall grows the displacement will become greater and hopefully it'll keep gaining until I run out of room for that so it can be permanently held in and tested again. Congratulations on the proposal man! You must have a good girl because I've dumped a lot of money into the truck n she still lives you haha keeper TRT: 145 shouldn't be too hard with that power on 2 12s honestly. Doable for sure if u ask me. The pics are coming when I get something done on it. It's cold out there lol but I'll get some product pics up soon and disassembly will hopefully be done today lol unless I freeze Contact us for the best quality cables and accessories with the fastest shipping in the industry EMAIL: [email protected]<script data-cfhash='f9e31' type="text/javascript"> /* */</script> LIKE US ON FB: https://www.facebook.com/SkyHighCarAudio ADD ME ON FB: https://www.facebook.com/jon.rabe.1 MONSTER SKY HIGH/DC GMC: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/127057-sky-high-monster-gmc-walk-through-12-lvl-5-15s-6-9ks-trim-panels-and-wiring-p-90/

I am at about 2.9ft3 per sub after displacements now. 15.5in2 per ft3 of port and tuned to 31hz. Its peaks at 46hz though. skyhighcaraudio
Sorry I'm on mobile after that first post. It'll be 2.9 also to start then adding to the angle wall will displace more and more until it stops gaining. I would guess about 2.6 will be where it stops gaining. My port area will be right there also on my 36 hz port then will gain to 19 with the 51 hz port But we will see don't quote me on that lol Contact us for the best quality cables and accessories with the fastest shipping in the industry EMAIL: [email protected]<script data-cfhash='f9e31' type="text/javascript"> /* */</script> LIKE US ON FB: https://www.facebook.com/SkyHighCarAudio ADD ME ON FB: https://www.facebook.com/jon.rabe.1 MONSTER SKY HIGH/DC GMC: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/127057-sky-high-monster-gmc-walk-through-12-lvl-5-15s-6-9ks-trim-panels-and-wiring-p-90/

OrionStang
I have a question about the 8's, why you chose lvl 2's. They aren't going to sound that great above 100-120hz. This is what I was told when I had the same midbass idea. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
AMI CUSTOMS
O I know the f150s don't get as loud as they should. There another guy on here with 4 15s they are aqs and 3.5k aq amps that's as loud or right around there with Cody sealed up and he was more power high voltage more come area (looks to be more port area also) and they are close. So I can understand that they suck to get loud. TRT: like i said I have high hopes but I don't want to get my shit set on 160 sealed (which I do think is possible in this set up of done right) but I don't want to make estimates or anything because I always do that and end up wrong so I'll just work hard on it and see what happens. Like I said I want to push myself to do really good work and expand my knowledge and skills because of it. Hmmmm I think I know this guy and a birdie told me he is also doing a rebuild with 6 15s. Oh wait that is me!!!! Let the build off begin!!! This is what I was told when I had the same midbass idea. The way I see it I'm not looking for too much over the 100 hz range like u said. I want the 8s to pick up where the 15s cut off with some overlap obviosuly then my door mids will hopefully pick up where the 8s leave out Contact us for the best quality cables and accessories with the fastest shipping in the industry EMAIL: [email protected]<script data-cfhash='f9e31' type="text/javascript"> /* */</script> LIKE US ON FB: https://www.facebook.com/SkyHighCarAudio ADD ME ON FB: https://www.facebook.com/jon.rabe.1 MONSTER SKY HIGH/DC GMC: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/127057-sky-high-monster-gmc-walk-through-12-lvl-5-15s-6-9ks-trim-panels-and-wiring-p-90/
