FroznBeavrBALLs
So my bro has been using an old box of mine for his 12" Kicker CompVX. He has a convertible sebring and the trunk is really weird. Needless to say the box pretty much took over his whole trunk and he didnt like that. So we made a deal. He would pay for 1 of my new lvl 4 Recones, and i would build him a box for his sub to give him more trunk space. So here it is. first. the trunk test fitting the frame got some non porous matterial, (using instead of the tape like most ppl use) and sealing it off. thats all i have done for now. Tomorrow im glassing it and, when its dry, building the baffle and mounting everything. Should look nice. 2 DC 12" lvl 4s 1 DC 1.2k XS Power S3400 big 3 Alll KNU wire Pioneer HU cheapo Legacy coaxes (just for now) http://www.stevemead...n-sentra-build/

Hope you tested it first on a small batch...and Id agree that it looks like the back and top could be a lot easier to do out of wood...especially the bottom being a completely flat piece. FroznBeavrBALLs
that non-porous material looks like the resin would love to seep right through it. Hope you tested it first on a small batch...and Id agree that it looks like the back and top could be a lot easier to do out of wood...especially the bottom being a completely flat piece. we checked it with water first and it didnt soak into it. but then we checked it with resin and it did. so im gonna have to do something different. I would build the whole thing out of wood. but it takes up so much space the sub wouldnt have enough air space. So i'm gonna have to figure it out. might get really thin wood and build it. then glass the inside for added strength. 2 DC 12" lvl 4s 1 DC 1.2k XS Power S3400 big 3 Alll KNU wire Pioneer HU cheapo Legacy coaxes (just for now) http://www.stevemead...n-sentra-build/
