Battery Just Took a S***

Recommended Posts

I would recommend Interstate, I had mine for 9 years (almost 10) before it crapped out. Winter is what killed it.. <_<

I guess it depends on what kind of battery you want to. I didn't see in your post if you wanted a AGM battery or a lead batt. If your looking for an AGM I would check out the 2 links I posted. They are both great batteries if you cant get XS and that is what you want either of the 2 would be good replacements. Good luck :drinks:

I'm looking for a battery that will be good for daily and support my system, until I have the funds to build a battery bank.

What model of Deka should I go for? I need one for under the hood and then some for a battery bank later on.

I think their group 31 is called the "intimidator". If you can fit that one under your hood that's what I would use for the front and back. The NorthStar batteries are really nice but they are fairly expensive. Good luck..

Thanks siccostyle! I finally have what I've been looking for :woot:, now all that is left to do is find out where to buy it and how much it will be.

Just went to my local Carquest (Auto parts store) and they can get the 8A31! It's going to be $280 each.
