first buget build just few quick questions

Before anyone gets ahead of themselves, this is not directed at the OP (Liighthead), please don't suggest DC, SSA, Sundown, etc.

Liighthead, I would look on sonicelectronixs or audiosavings and find the 2 kicker comp or 100 bucks free shipping deal, a decent little 300 or 400 rms amp, and a decent wiring kit. That would be about 200 probably and sometimes they will include a wiring kit with the amp (will say if it does). I would not usually suggest this but either a prefab sealed or if you felt up to building a box (would need basic tools) would be the cheapest and yield the best results usually.

Ya, I would suggest buying from sonic as well..they have exceptional customer service and such. For amps...if you want a good cheap amp...Kenwoods have a good 1000 watt mono amplifier that runs for $124 or such, I sold mine for $100...so if you get lucky you can catch them for sale. They have very good power behind their equipment.

i would suggest a single Sundown SA-12. with a 500-800 watt amp. wires, fuse, big 3, grounds.

look on craiglist for amps, get a hifonics brutus there. for cheap and they are reliable budget amps !
