Ladybridgeport
Sounds like a beefy electrical, you should post some more pics of the system! I made the bracket myself with some 1/4" steel I had. The batteries have no swelling. Since I bought all three at the same time, I got them for a grand each or $1050 I don't remember exactly. I have more detailed pics at http://www.wowelectronics.com/2000montecarloreb.html I have way too many pics to post them all here. I don't want to clutter up the forum, but anyone that wants to see more pics, I don't mind posting. I haven't made my sub enclosure yet. So far I only have the under the hood, and half the trunk complete. Essential the Big 3 upgrade is complete. Big 4, if you include suspension upgrade. Big 5 if you count electrical tweaking(changing bulbs to led to save on current draw. Big 6 upgrade for added insulation. Heck if I made the Big # whatever, I might have 9 of them lol. I'll include a couple more battery wiring pics of how I cleaned it up. I haven't tested my X3 subs. I decided to go with them because Memphis has an SPL sub, but it's not musical. I wanted something mostly musical, but also for SPL once in a while. I tried Soundstream 8" midrange pro series. They crackle at 120hz, don't get them for midbass, even though is says midbass on the magnet. I have their bullet tweeters pro series and they scream. I'm going with morel midrange and aurasound for midbass.

Ladybridgeport
Haha damn that's badass lol an actual use for hood scoops. Luv it! For battery power distribution I used blue sea fuses and this copper busbar I made from admiral metals. I polished the copper and sprayed it with storm copper coat from stormcopper.com. It's kind of hard to find at their website. You may have to google the product name and their site name.
