Audiocontrol Epicenter users?

If you turn both to the right you're turning the frequency to the 40+hz range. Definitely not what I would want. In the middle should be fine for most for the frequency. The wide can just be played with to you're liking. If it sounds better to the right then you're box is either not tuned to what you think or your cabin peak is really high. I use it for alternative music and country music and it works great.

Also on the box tuning. I have some friends that are running sealed boxes with an epicenter and they hit harder too just like a ported box

yeah i liked my sealed box, sounded better just didnt move air like i do now

I got one and my box is tuned to roughly 33hz and sounds good, but I guess it depends on the song on which notes it creates no? I know the epicenter has an internal 33hz subsonic filter, so I don't think it will go lower than that? Unless of course you change the subsonic filter. I don't really listen to corridos, but I've heard some older spanish music and DAMN talk about constant bass lines on some songs lol I use it mostly for rock, you guys with epicenter should try Disturbed- The Game, and Korn- Freak on a Leash they get pretty loud in my truck.

I got both dials on mine all the way down. Sounded good in my 32hz box, Sounds like low 30s to me. Didn't get to use the epicenter on my 28hz box though, and my amp just took a shit on me

I have an audiocontrol epicenter since corridos have no bass. I used the Torres calculator and tuned my box to around 33hz and I used the DD-1 to tune my amp to get no distortion with the epicenter. Sounds good to me and everyone else who has heard it

Yeah corridos is what is mainly for, my box is tuned to about 35hz and its also loud and clean

but i always wondered what its actually doing like what hz is that bass you hear when you put chalino and cadetes and turn up the knob?

Also would the epicenter sound louder/better with a lower or higher tuning? Those type of questions.

i listen to corridos and banda mostly all the time and some english but i notice that english music dont sound that good with the epicenter

my box is tuned to 34hz and my corridos sound like crap with the epicenter, rap is loud and very deep

im thinking of tuning my box to 30Hz ported with 3 kicker l7 15s i do have the audiocontrol dqxs and matrix and epicenter would that be good
