Is it ok to use a different ground for Engine Block to Ground and Negative Battery to Ground?

My battery and engine block is on different sides.

is this ok? because mine is the same way or should i make a new engine block ground

I'm confused. So after I've connected my fuse holder to the (+) battery, there is currently no fuse in the fuse holder?

In step 13 it says:

So during this step I have to unscrew my knukoncept fuse holder to add the fuse in? Why didn't we just add the fuse in to begin with so we don't have to go back and unhook the fuse holder to add the fuse? (I'm using the same fuse holder as in this tutorial).

its for ur own safety and cheap insurance, if its fused and u accidentally ground it while ur working ur fucked, and ur cars fucked, this way just in case the wire touches ground ur safe. get it?

yeah why not, just make sure u use a good point, scrape the paint off and make sure what ur grounding to is actually grounded. probably why it says leave the stock wires alone, in case ur ground doesnt work ull still have some ground. it doesnt need to be exactly like the pic, its universal, just ground it somewhere on ur block and somewhere on the chassis, or all over if u want haha :P

My question is, running 1/0 from alternator to battery (positive), my alternator being 110A stock. Would I put a fuse that is 300A, or a 150A since it is closer to the max output of my alternator?

I have an 03 Dodge Dakota.

My pos. to my alternator comes from the fuse panel

next to my battery. The fuse panel has about 6 inch pos.

wire to the battery that connects to the same pos. post

as the alternator pos. inside fuse panel. The alternator pos.

wire has a fusable link that I plan on replacing with an inline

fuse. Question is Would it be better to run alternator pos.

straight to battery or to run it back to the post inside fuse

panel? Don't know if it makes sense hope so.
