Thanks man. The last month or so, I haven't gotten anything done. My ex-girlfriend came back into the picture, and I've been pretty busy trying to repair that mess I left. She is the girl I was with when I bought this car, and started the build. She is also the best girlfriend I've ever had, so this time I'm gonna try my best to keep her!

Anyway, warm weather is on it's way, and I've been stacking up parts and equipment, and I'll be starting back in on it sometime this coming week. So updates are coming soon, be on the lookout! Got some really cool stuff up ahead!

 BTW, we all know about how that "busy trying to repair the mess I made" thing goes. It's a never ending battle. You just keep getting up the next day and doing your best buddy! Wait till you get married, it's even worse sometimes! All I can say is ---- "DO WORK SON!!!" Really though, good for you for fixing it. Hope it works out for you. No man is a man without a good woman!

Now, that being said, I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Thanks man. Yeah having been married twice, I definitely know what you mean. But this girl is different, she is a rare breed, and instead of breaking up w/ her last year, I should have married the girl! Anyway, things are going really good now, and I'm really happy to have the chance to get her back. I don't plan on messing up this time!

As for doing some work, I am headed outside now to get started! It's a beautiful day, can't waste it!

Here is a list of what all needs done with the doors:

- Finish installing sound deadner

- New door panel mounting points

- Sealed chamber extenders/ bracing for the door subs

- Cutout a new outside panel board

- Cutout 4 more speaker rings

- Mounting the speaker rings

- Stretch out the fleece over the panels

- Start glassing these bitches!

- Sanding, sanding, and some more sanding!

- Bodywork, and more sanding

- Cover with vinyl

- Run the wires

- touch-up painting

- Enjoy the new doors!

But I may have to cut into this work for a min, as my suspension is in desperate need of some attention, and my radiator fan has went out. So when I go to change it, I wanna go ahead and build my new battery tray, so I can move both batts to the front. I plan on sneaking that into the mix sometime soon!

Then it's on to the dash, which I believe will be much easier. After that, I'll finish the interior color change, lay down the new carpet, and then it will be time to start building the wall! I am really excited, can't wait to hear it all! But damn I feel a little overwhelmed at times! Guess it's time to get her done!

Um March 10th and now it's April 4th, damn near a month since the last post. What's up man!? No pressure at all of course, but WHERE THE UPDATES AT!?!!?!?!

Not that I can talk :peepwall: but I'm coming back bigger better and LOUDER!!!

Just checking in on you my man!!

Hey bro, my bad! No excuses from me, I've just been neglecting my car and my work. But I've finally got everything set up, and ready to go!

So there should be some serious updates here really soon! Like in the next few days....

yea, I wanna see those doors, been working on mine too :D need more heat outside though :D

No doubt! Every time I have tried to get something done, I've been rained out. :(

Oh and in case anyone was wondering, I got everything figured out about the prego girlfriend situation. And in case you didn't hear, my girl is knocked up...

I decided, at the advice of my girl, to go ahead and finish this build, as long as it doesn't interfere with anything important. And then, after it's done, if I am in need of money, I will just sell the whole ride.

I will no longer spend money on this out of my regular pay check, instead I will work side jobs to fund this project. But the good part is, I have already spent over 4K on Stage 3, so the way I figure it, I only need a little less than a thousand to completely finish. :)

In the mean time, I have over 4K worth of stuff to get done! So I promise some new updates really, really soon!

First of all! CONGRATS!

Second of all, I for one, understand completely! That's why it takes so long for me to do anything. Although, check the signature, I've got a big one going right now! Last one, for a long time, but it's a biggie!

I'll be here for ya, no matter how long it takes. Love watching your work, it's inspiring! Keep it up! :drinks:

Thanks man! Yeah I see you started a whole new adventure! Looks very promising! I'm tuned in!

And oh yeah, how about some updates?

I haven't gotten anything done to the doors, actually I put them on hold for the moment. I need to address the battery situation. My plan is to move the rear Kinetik to the front, and connect the two with a small set of bus bars. I'll have to build a new battery trey to hold them both. While there, I have a new radiator fan to install. Also, I went ahead and pulled out my interior, and pulled the rest of the wire and 4ch amp from under my seat. I am gonna go ahead and lay down my damplifier to finish out the car. When those things are done, then it will be time to start back on the doors.

So here are a few pics to show where we are at.

First we pulled the rear panels to get to the rear batt.

Then it's time to pull the amp, wires, and crossover rack

524647_360881750614490_100000780034606_910043_1439885827_n.jpg

Crossovers out!

521877_360882040614461_100000780034606_910046_536822315_n.jpg

Now out with the seats!

295294_360882173947781_100000780034606_910048_177492827_n.jpg

Then I put my son to work pulling the spare tire so we can un bolt the base

529675_360882250614440_100000780034606_910049_602737945_n.jpg

578190_360882303947768_100000780034606_910050_292518388_n.jpg

Amp and seat are out of there!

535174_360882550614410_100000780034606_910053_1437547142_n.jpg

And now the base

524580_360882973947701_100000780034606_910059_1740050490_n.jpg

And this is how she sits at the moment. All we need to do now is pull the headliner, and part of the dash, and that will be all the interior.

156265_360883420614323_100000780034606_910066_139962339_n.jpg

Okay remember when I said I had 4K setting in my closet? Well how about proof?

543676_360884477280884_100000780034606_910082_887364732_n.jpg

Okay, so for today, I will be working on the new battery trey and bus bars for these.

531227_360885413947457_100000780034606_910099_114061099_n.jpg

Oh and here are a few pics I forgot to post. It's me opening my SOTM prize, which I am getting ready to use!

Okay, so now you are all up to date. I will try to keep busy now that nice weather is here, so stay tuned for much more to come!

And sorry for the crappy update, I have just been trying to get life issues settled before fully concentrating on the build.

I will get some stuff done now!

Believe that!

More to come...
