My fluke has a .02 drop in the leads somewhere, but yea, this thing is accurate, no adjustments needed. Gonna be strategically placing some of these under my "no fat chicks" sticker. It's hot as hell out and I've got the kid this morning, so I at least got most of the top of the trunk done. It was extremely easy to apply and press out all the air bubbles with, and it is THICK. Surely added some weight to the trunk and could notice a difference immediately doing the "pound on the trunk" test. HatersGonnaHate Posted July 25, 2012 Author Report Share Posted July 25, 2012 Slapped a few more strips of deadener on the trunk lid this morning, My original plan was to cover the entire trunk lid, but with the amount that I put on there yesterday, I feel that this is enough. It makes that much of a difference, honestly. If you haven't read it yet, take a look at my Audio Technix 60 Mil Sound Deadener Review. And since I have a ton of it left, I'll be doing the rear deck as soon as I clear out the trunk. This is what's left after one layer on the lid, and a few spots that were doubled up. The meter was placed in the trunk to read the ambient temp in there. And again, absolutely no sagging or slipping of the deadener. Still need to make trim rings for them, but they are in and playing and sound great. Will take daytime pics tomorrow, but I also installed some fancy LED's to replace my boring trunk light. Trunk open, LED's come on. Trunk closes, LED's go off.
