Miguels
Then it is not a problem with the amplifier or the LED. It sounds like you have some residual voltage on the turn-on output keeping the LED lit. I have seen this before. This can be the result of some component backfeeding voltage into the turn-on circuit. In some cases, it will even keep the radio ON after it is turned off. This is a job for your digital multi-meter. it reads 0.05 on the meter Quote my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
snafu
.05 VDC is not enough to keep an LED on - that requires a minimum of .7 VDC to turn it on. Really without seeing it first hand, I can't say what is keeping the LED lit. If you have multiple components all tied to the romote output, you may disconnect them one at a time until the LED goes out to narrow down your search. snafu
Yes, the kit can turn on both of your amplifiers, the volt meter, and about 50 of those fans. snafu
Well, this is all that's left of my first run. TORK2 kits are outselling the TORK1 by a WIDE margin. Get 'em while I got 'em. Parts enroute to build the next batch. Quote Tony Candela - SMD Sales & Marketing Email me at [email protected] to learn about becoming an SMD Partner! NickTheBassHeadCook
What awg wire is used on the Tork2? And for the power lead can I just run it to the 12v connection in my fuse box under the back seat?
snafu
16 AWG wire on the switch 18 AWG wire on the coil Yes, you can connect the +12V input to any source of power that will supply at least 7.5 Amps BTW, yours has shipped!
