I have an 00' Astro Van and have completely removed all seats except for driver/passenger. Originally, I had a Kicker Dx500.1 amp powering a pair of Kicker Comp 12".

Recently, I replaced the amp with an old Rockford Fosgate Punch 801S and replaced the standard Comps' with a pair of CompVR's.

Maybe it's just the size/shape of my vehicle, but I'm not really feeling much of a difference from the old setup to the new one.

Yes, everything is properly hooked up & adjusted.

So, what sort of setup would actually help me feel the bass more? I would prefer to stick with Kicker(at least for the subs) as they are easier to acquire/replace.

Thanks

I would go bigger on both and I need to ask what kind of box are you using now. If you go ported with some 15's you should feel the bass more. Also where is the box currently positioned?

even if you got car 15's, built in a proper box, it would get loud. So like the guys stated, it starts with box, and the way you have the subs and port facing.

i had kicker subs but after awhile they get boring but maybe you should consider selling them and getting some DC SUBS on a ported box they'll make you much happier bass head
