Nitrous installed in the Lexus ISF (DYNO numbers Page 6)

Recommended Posts

nice steve! that isf is so sweet...... 1 quick question though....isnt the reason nitrous is bad for your engine is because 1. if you run it too lean itll obviously blow up lol but mainly doesnt it stretch the head bolts? i thought i read that somewhere and that the reason alot of people dont use it..... it causes a ton of pressure on the heads and stretches them so every 2 or 3 runs down the strip they had to replace head bolts...... maybe its on a setup with more than a 75 shot lol but damn the installers do a HELL of a job makin it look clean!

props to them!

Depends on the tuning.

A good tune and what not, it'll be fine as the ecu will compensate for the additional fuel coming in. Head will be fine...

We got N.O.S.!!! I hijacked 2 posts on page 1 to make room for more pics.....sorry bout that!

we just did a 75 shot for now. Tomorrow i get up on the Dyno and see if we can do a 100 shot safely and also get some numbers :D Over all, Gearhead Garage did a FUCKING OUTSTANDING job on everything. Not just because they did the work and got it done but because it was done so meticulously and professionally. You cant hardly see where any of the wiring was, it all blends in with the engine compartment nicely. Anyway, go check out the pics, i have a headache and i am tired so video will have to be tomorrow when i wake up.
