got new rcas and tried hooking up both the subs different times and still no power. im guessing its the amp then. dammit

Turn the SSF all the way down, the low pass all the way up, and the gain all the way up. See if it makes any sound

And some head units can turn off certain outputs - make sure the sub setting on the head unit is on, or better yet - just reset it to be double sure

Take a 9v battery or AA battery, hook it up to your subwoofers. If they move, then the subwoofers are not your problem. Make sure everything is properly attached. A guy recently had the same problem, went to figure out his RCA weren't plugged in all the way.

Sub woofer may be disconnected.

ive tried messing with the gains and stuff on the amp earlier. i might just disconnect the h/u and try that. and theres a setting for rear speaker on my h/u but i cant get to it. i have the pioneer avh-2300

If you have a 3.5mm to RCA converter, just play something through your iPod / computer / whatever and plug it right in to your amp
