It's december, Crack a window come to Oklahoma. It was 43 today. High of like 31 tomorrow. It'll probably be like 80 next week. Fun place to live and what pissed me off today Oklahoma Highway Patrol recently got a sizeable chunk of their budget cut because Mary Fallin is a fucking shit cunt worthless piece of garbage, so now troopers are limited to 100 miles of driving a day vs 240. This fucks me in both of my jobs. At the county, because now OHP is going to be conducting vehicle inspections and checking weights with portable scales on county vehicles. We never, ever, ever, have had to abide by any weight regulations. And we have to call in and get our equipment permitted to move. So instead of going out and getting a job done in a week, we now have to call into the state, have them send a DOT compliance officer or State trooper out to discuss a route, take measurements of the equipment, inspect the vehicle, blah blah. Our safety man said it generally takes 3 days to get a permit to move oversized equipment, since the state plans your route. And with the wrecker service, because now troopers aren't going to be able to cover as much area in a single day. That means we will be getting less DUI impounds, and other minor impounds like out of date tags and lack of insurance from a traffic stop. And the more area they cover, the farther we can charge loaded mileage on impounds. Like the other night, that wreck was out in the middle of nowhere. That trooper was only 3 hours into his shift, he burned up 60 miles out of his 100 just getting there from his troops base. s5300 Posted December 9, 2016 Report Share Posted December 9, 2016 Friend of mine bought a Kicker CX a600.1 and two 10' comps for 'sound quality' at best buy He paid $250 for ~450 watts at 2 ohm. Had to drop that skype call quick as fuck, can't fucking believe that shit after I try to help him out to not waste his money. $700 total for all of that installed in a 3/4 (maybe 1/2) particle board box.
