Torres
i'm aware that the knob position doesn't mean anything, but given that you simply turned it down to avoid clipping i was curious as to how you were sure that the signal was correctly matched, as in voltage-wise. say one is at 9.5 volts, then another is at 10.2 volts. you could have turned it down two or three or four times as much and it still wouldn't be clipping. but then chances are they wouldn't be fully matched. but that last part with the CC-1 answered my question if it detects it with the light. i plan on getting the CC-1 eventually, but if i have to set multiple amps before then, i'm going to use a DMM in conjunction to ensure that they are all not clipping, and that the voltage is set the same. basically what i was curious about
kingsuv
Gain matching with the CC-1 was more accurate then my DDM when I matched up 12 amps in Garys system. 1 Quote Designing, building, and shipping boxes. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.
audiofanaticz
Kinda figured you knew the first part torres but this way if anyone else is curious or has that question and actually uses that "search" button the answer would be there
Ray
The cc1 is gain matching in dbV Not just ac voltage out. Only about 10x more accurate than your dmm Quote 2008 California state record holder 157.2 Bassrace2009 California state record holder 157.0 BassraceRollin 50's 158.7db2009 King of Cali Bassrace2009 USACi score 160.5 @ 42hz
