New battery? Extra battery? Bigger alternator?

Recommended Posts

adding bigger wire either 1/0 gauge or 4 gauge. one wire from alt to battery another from ground to frame and another ground to engine block. i would run another ground to the alt to make sure the alt is grounded correctly

mechman dcpower or singer. stay away from caps. they are only good for a little amp just upgrade upfront and add a rear one so you have no voltage drop

when you say upgrade up front, you mean the battery and alternator? and then add an extra battery in the back? So 2 batteries?

yes but if you can fit a big enough battery at front then there is no need for the second one if the alt is efficient enough
