holy hi-res pictures batman!!! looks good, I too am working on my first box and it's a lot of fun. That picture of the box in sketchup is sexy too, keep at it

thanks man, I that top piece cut out. I think I like the look of it being white, so I just need to get some red paint and do the top piece with that. should be done really soon :)

Good rule of thump is go by what fuse size is being used in these amps. The higher the more amperage it pulls, this is what I look at.

I'll stick a 300 amp fuse in a potato and sell it to you for $2k.

Deadner time very soon :) do you recommend doing smaller peices spread out on the panels or should i go balls to the wall and cover everything i can with deadner? I also have a pain in the ass little peice of plastic below my window that rattles like a mofo. ill take a pic soon and put it up and if you know how to shut it up that would be useful :) the gap is to small to put some glue under it to hold it down and i can constantly hear it from inside the car just from the mid bass

Are you talking about the piece under the windshield? You could remove it, put down some hot glue then pop it back in. I'm sure their will be a lot of opinions on deadener, but I personally like to load down the cargo area and entire floor. Then only do 1 or 2 layers on sides and roof.

Hmmm. You've got me there, aside from using a permanent adhesive that would ruin the paint if you ever took it off.

yeah its a bitch to say the least. i might try get some glue that dries clear and push the piece down the put a little bead of glue under it and see if that helps at all, other then that i don't know what else to try hah

The only think I have left to do is some sound deadner and paint the box. This is my first build ever, so honestly what do you guys think? looking for feedback so i know what to improve on next time. I want to try running active next, but that will mean buying a new amp as the crossover on my current 4 channel only goes up to 500hz.

Let me know what you all think. and dont sugar coat it please lol
