J.HA
Before you guys flame on me and suggest I go ported, please understand that space is going to be an issue for my trunk. It is going to be a Lexus GS Sedan. I am going for sound quality, but would like to get loud as well. The amp that I will be using will be a single Rockford T25001BDCP. Should I get 2 15" Fi Q, each in their own individually sealed 1.75-2cft box, or a single 15" SP4(not sure how good they sound) in a sealed 3-3.5cft box? OR even 2 12" Fi Q each in a 1.5-2cft sealed? I know these volumes for the 15" Fi Q are below recommended, but I have no choice. Any tips would be great.
Watch the bass
Go with the 2 12´s. With them you can hold the size of the box. If you go under recommanded boxspecs you have to throw more power to the sub´s. Against the SP 4 2 times motorforce and 2 12´s have more conearea than 1 15, and last and not least the Q sub is the SQ(L) sub from FI. You want mare SQ than go SQ. wizart383
If your limited in space I would get the 12's.
J.HA
So you guys think that 2 12"s will sound better and louder than 2 15"s in the same enclosure(~1.75 per chamber) with the same amount of power?
