I've never had it on one battery I've always had it on at least two so maybe that is the difference. Mine is putting the energy over twice the battery so it takes that much longer to get to a high voltage. Highest I've seen is 14.8ish and that was when i was gone for a a few days and forgot to unplug it whoops.

If anybody else has a suggestion shoot it out. Like I posted, mine is a cheapo that I tossed in because it fits in my hood. You can find those at any local autoparts store or at their respective websites.

Noobtastic, I have a question for you if you don't mind: My charger alternates charging between 15.2v (at 25amps) and 14.5v(at 12 amps) on the large agm battery setting, but once it reads they are charged it tapers off and goes into float mode at 13.5v.

It seems like it is charging kind of high, but is this even something to be concerned about (battery life)?
