This is where i am now. Those ears are going to get cut off and then i'll make a trim ring that lays flat against the screen. So it will be at an angle at the top and then drop almost straight down.

sicc build buddy

Thanks!. Just so everyone knows, the three or four people who look in here anyway lol. I am getting a set of fosgate t2 6.5 components soon, then after christmas another pair. Than i will start on the doors. Hopefully the p2 8's and both 6.5 will fit after i make new panels. I have 2 sheets of 1/4 mdf waiting for that project. So hopefully the car stays running til i finish that.

Well, I got some work done today. It didn't turn out perfect but it came out good enough. I put in a USB port and an Aux out/in port too for the computer

These small boards are just some extra bracing because it is made of 1/4" mdf

Here is where the Aux Cable goes

I could have done a bit more sanding in places and i need something to flush out where it meets the shifter cover. All in all i am happy with it. And it is really terrible trying to match things up with this old car. I'm not sure that anything is close to square to begin with so it make it really hard to cut tight fitting pieces. Plus, i am not that patient.

Also, sorry if the pics arent great quality. I had to takes screenshots of video from my camcorder because i cant find my regular camera.
