cal Posted March 14, 2012 Report Share Posted March 14, 2012 i just bought a treo 6.1 amp and after i bought it i found some threads that claim these amps are a problem to repair board need to be replaced and are a very expensive repair. i spoke to treo tech abd claims they never had an amp fail . i just want hear actual facts from owners either good or bad on these 2 models please. Fosgatefeind Posted April 2, 2012 Report Share Posted April 2, 2012 Buddy ran a 6.1 and had 11 batterys. 1 under hood. On 2 amps and clamped each over 9k. And fried the remote input on it and was quoted 300 from treo and they said they didn't know how worse it is inside and could be more but sent it in and was under 300.
