knowledge Posted March 21, 2012 Report Share Posted March 21, 2012 actually it is very p0ssible to run 1500 on stock electrical. i run 4k minus my 2 4 channels on my daily bone stock electrical with no issue's not even a flinch of dimming. u gotta know what ur doing um.... no. edit: let me rephrase a bit, you are not pulling around 280a of current on bone stock electrical. you might have 4krms worth of amps, but on stock electrical, assuming 80-100a alternator, and a regular wet cell 12v battery, you are no way in hell pulling 4k without dimming or issues. you can run 1500rms on stock electrical, but you will have voltage drop and if you are idling you will probably see low 12s or voltage in the 11s. when driving probably a little light dimming at night, but probably no issues in the day. im deff not pulling around 280a on stock alt obviously and im probably not seen close to that i did run tha amp for a while with no issues but since changed my amp witch was the t4k for my DDm3a just cuz the size difference and im running it at .5 ohms still on stock electrical and 2 batt and even at low voltage that thing is producing lots of power, gets loud just like the t4k but much cleaner, was at a show demoing for hours, again not a flinch of dimming and not a single problem! here was a video i made Quote REFF'SMy linkEBAYhttp://feedback.ebay...ck&myworld=trueI love car audio so much because I will never be done. Bump4life Posted March 21, 2012 Report Share Posted March 21, 2012 I don't even know how he is running 1500 true rms off of completely stock electrical. physically that is impossible unless your car comes stock with 2 or possibly 0 gauge wiring and a beefy bat. its not reccommended to run that amp at .5 even if you do have a electrical to back it up. Is it the BDCP version? If so run it at 2 ohms and you be at about same power maybe slightly less. Good job. It is very possible to get 1500w from stock electrical. Stock electrical is all car dependent. You dont know what hes driving. thats why i said unles car comes with 0 or 2 gauge wires. he wont get a true 1500rms unless he has a bat bank or something to supply that amperage and keep voltage up. i run my 1500rms + on sstock electrical too. do i actualllly get 1500rms, prolly not at the moment, yea it runs, but how well. and yes it is car dependent.
