Second Battery Wiring

there are MANY MANY threads about this..hell i literally see a battery or wiring question 2 or 3 times a day..

instead of askiing questions do a little research first

fyi i did search on the forums and read many threads where it was suggested to wire the batteries different ways. as i previously stated i wanted to clarify those conflicting opinions.

Headunit - Alpine 9857

Mids & Highs - T165,T1692

Mids & Highs Amp - T400-4

Subs - 2 12" DC Audio Level 3 M2s

Sub Amp - T1500-1bdcp

Alternator - MechMan 220a

Wiring - 1/0ga XS Power

Batteries - 2 Optima Yellow Tops

Positive from front battery to back battery

Fuse on each end of the positive wire, as close to the battery as possible

At a minimum, ground the rear battery to the chassis. If you want to be better, ground to the chassis AND make a negative run to the front battery.
