Posted March 27, 2012 Report Share Posted March 27, 2012 Take dmm and ohm out your ground wires, set meter to ohms, touch the red lead to the black lead, it should mack a signal sound,,,, then touch the red lead to one end of ground and the black to the other, you should get the same signal sound, if you do it meens you have no breakes in wire ,,,,, if you dont get it then you do ,,,,,and go a head and find a better place to ground,,,, fram if poss..................... just noticed you are running AQ750, if gain is to high it will do that too............... mw02civic Posted March 27, 2012 Report Share Posted March 27, 2012 I have recently had a similar problem with my sub "popping" when i would turn my deck on or off. It was my ground. Amart88 Posted March 27, 2012 Report Share Posted March 27, 2012 Just add a toggle switch on your remote wire so you control when the amps turn on and off. That is if the problem is not cause by grounds,eq's etc. That way you can turn the amps on after the car is started and before the car is turned off. My 2005 s10 blazer build. 4 zcon 18's walled.
