Product Development Questions for ALL SMD Members

Recommended Posts

OK, I'm considering developing several new "complete" kits for SMD Members and the car audio enthusiast in general, so stay tuned. What kind of kits would you guys like to see from me? What should said kit simplify? What should it sell for?

I have the luxury of going from concept to a sell-able product in days. Have a good idea? Let's hear it.

What about larger gauge crimping, terminal and shrink wrap kit? Like for 4g and up?

If you don't have it already.

When you say kit I'm thinking like a box of some type that contains everything you need to do a specific job or several. If that's the case then how about a amp install kit or an alarm install kit.I will probably be needing that alarm kit here soon hehehe

Good stuff - keep it coming. Be sure and tell me what your idea should include and sell for so I have some idea of what you're thinking. I'll leave the PCM alternator work-around to Mechman! This just isn't something that I have the resources to tackle.

I like the idea of a large gauge crimping set but if I'm going to sell it with a crimp tool, rest assured it will be one that works and NOT one of those hydraulic things from Harbor Freight . . .
