As far as the harbor freight crimper goes, if you can scrounge up extra dies from the good crimper, I would think they would fit the cheaper harbor freight one. I would snatch one of those sets up from you so fast....

Well, what about if I sold a kit like this without the crimping tool? Obviously, all of you guys are programmed to 1/0 AWG and 4 AWG - so how about a kit with an assortment of 1/0 AWG and 4 AWG eyelets . . . say with 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" and 1/2" diameter holes? All of my eyelets are extra thick tin plated copper so it's gonna' be a wee bit more money than buying cheap copper lugs from Home Depot. The kit would also include red and black adhesive lined heat shrink tubing.

How many of each size eyelet would you need?

Would 2-1 AWG eyelets be a plus?

Would 8 AWG eyelets be be a plus?

Are 90 degree eyelets a plus?

Would it be best to have a kit for each size eyelet? IE - a 1/0 AWG eyelet kit, a 2-1 AWG eyelet kit, a 4 AWG eyelet kit, an 8 AWG eyelet kit?

Thoughts?

Snafu, I like the idea of a RCA volume knob controller made by you. Also I think the idea of a on/off switch through the power line or RCA line to your bass amp for quick de-bassing for those certain situations when you need to turn the bass off in an instant

I was initially talking about the part of the tool that does the crimping like this:

What about having a couple kits to fit various budgets? Maybe a 2 amp kit that would assume using 1/0 AWG into a distro block with two 4 AWG power wires.

Or a battery bank kit with maybe a couple dozen 1/0 AWG terminals and accessories.

or maybe an assorted kit with 8 of each 8 AWG-1/0 AWG terminals and accessories.

Also maybe specific AWG kits with different eyelet sizes and different eyelet types (90 degree for example) and maybe a specific tool for that AWG (ie. crimping tool)

Also fair dues snafu for asking the public what they'd like to see, and actually seeing that it could be a possible product. dont see that very often.
