sundownz
In terms of objectively measured distortion I would be extremely happy to compare a Z v.3 to any version 9500 series on the Klippel machine at Red Rock Acountics I currently have a 9518H-SC at the shop I can send in. Not to say someone might not prefer the sound of one or the other for reasons other than low distortion -- that would simply boil down to taste -- but non-linear parameters we can measure - Jacob Fuller - Owner, Sundown Audio - Sundown Audio on FACEBOOK - Please DO NOT PM ME -- use my email address -- [email protected]

ktraughb
wow, what power is that on? DD9515f at rest is .8ohm... the Sundown Zv3 15" at rest is 1.2ohm The DD 9515 was clamped at 11,803 watts with box rise at 3.06ohm The Sundown Zv.3 15" was clamped at 12,322 watts with box rise at 2.19ohm very interesting. same enclosure with .4 ohm nominal difference and yet the rise was lower on the zv3. very interesting. might have a better spl than musical sub on your hands there. I'm sure Jacob will give details as to why. I'm not going to go into build-up of the sub that is for him
