Bigtoe-69
What do you guy think of the ma audio hard kore dual 2 ohm subs? You think they could really hold up to the 2000w rms? They look pretty well built but I'm not an expert by no means just wondering on peeps thoughts thanks Specs: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_4115_MA-Audio-HK15X2.html http://www.sonicelectronix.com/pictures_new.php?id=4115&picture_id=-

wonderboy
Just got one, but havent got the box built or got an amp yet. Right on the basket is a label that says 2500 RMS 5000 MAX, so I'm not sure how accurate sonic's specs are. Seems very well built to me though. Edit: And the magnet looks different too, so maybe its just a newer model and sonic hasnt posted the new pictures and specs yet. big dee
I wonder if wonder boy is gonna post those pics! Lol I would he worryed about finding recones for them. I've seen these subs before and they are cheaply made IMO. But they did sound good and hit hard tho. I wouldn't give them more than 1k each. I realy don't think they would hold up on 2500rms
stroupe79
those are cheapos....for 230 a 15 you can get something alot better..there is no way those could take 5k each let alone the 2500w they say is RMS... look at Skar VVX 15s they are 220 and are very nice for the price or Sundown SA-15 for 235 are great for the price too...you can check out both here http://www.woofersetc.com/c-35-15-subwoofers.aspx?manufacturerid=134&minprice=1&maxprice=1 Quote http://www.stevemead...cherokee-build/ 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Alpine CDE-hd148bt Alpine PKG-RSE2 PRV Audio (4) 6MB200 front/rear doors PRV Audio (4) TW350Ti dash/rear doors Kicker KX350.4 Obsidian Audio (1) 18 D4 v2 revamp (2) Stereo Integrity HT 18d2DC Audio 1.2k5.25ft^3 tuned @34hz revamp Infinite Baffle Cpillar AudioTechnix 60mil deadenerKnuKonceptz & SkyHigh wire (complete setup)
STEvil
same motor as the HK18's I think.. they took 5K RMS like champs.. for burps.. 10K clipped was not healthy though lol. edit - recone from fi or whoever will fit them as well I believe. Edited April 19, 2012 by STEvil Quote MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..." Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed.
