rbradfordjr
Just out of curiosity, ive always wondered when i see a system with an amp mounted to the box itself does the vibration from the subs cause any damage to teh amp at all over time? Im gettign ready to redue my whole system and it would be more space efficient for me to mount my amp to the box but i dont wan tto do anything that is going to potentially damage my amp. Thanks
cjN
i have my amps mounted to my box, i havent had any problems with it yet, if you're worried about it just put another piece on the back of the box and screw the amps to the extra piece Quote 2x sundown audio sa 12's Crescendo BC2000 kinetik 1800, 1400. CLNSHVNnDRAGGN
If your box is built solid enough it shouldn't vibrate any more than any other surface you mount to. I've mounted amps to boxes many times and never had an issue but my boxes are usually more solid than anything else in the vehicle. KillaCam
It will be fine if your box is strong, use some rubber washers if you want.
