97Jetta1637 Posted May 2, 2012 Report Share Posted May 2, 2012 he was a freaking monster. i may not like pro sports for various reasons, but this is a sobering moment that goes to show you, football can lead to brain damage with hard enough hits in multiple occasions. i applaud goodell for taking a stance, but 50k fines is nothing for these guys really, that's like $50 for us. a more serious action needs to be taken for hits like this, on the hitter, and the one hit. All I got was a text saying he was found with a shot to the chest and I had already assumed he had done it himself, my assumption was later confirmed. For those that don't know he was probably one of the hardest hitters to ever play. I have not heard of anyone else besides JR to crack face masks and helmets from hits. Insane!
