Chaosgrunt Posted May 3, 2012 Report Posted May 3, 2012 K so I'm just gonna run everything by you guys to double check. I should be set to start building next weekend! Subs: 3 AudioQue hdc4 18's Amps: 3 AudioQue 3500's @ .5 ohms Enclosure: 18 cubes after displacement, 324 sq inches of port @ 30hz tuning. Electrical: 3 320 amp alternators and 6 xs power d3100's. Gonna start the build log next Friday building the box but the subs and amps wont be here for another month or so. It will be a slow build log but oh well. I only make so much money lol. Quote

727Designs Posted May 3, 2012 Report Posted May 3, 2012 Good luck fitting 3 18's, from what I've seen on Mustang wall builds it's tight to do 2. Quote -Zach-2010 Toyota TundraFull Hybrid Audio SQ 7" BDS on 37's 2000 Ford Expedition 160+ dB Green Turd -SOLD-

Chaosgrunt Posted May 3, 2012 Author Report Posted May 3, 2012 (edited) Also, it will be nice doing a huge build like this because I have nothing to rush for. I wont have the subs for a month so I can spend that whole month making a nice box. Even painting it and making it look good. Edit: oh and fiberglassing components onto the 3rd baffle. OrionStang Posted May 3, 2012 Report Posted May 3, 2012 IMO, 2 will louder than 3. UNLESS you cut out your entire rear deck to build the box big enough. You need 16.5 cubes 'minimum' after all displacements. That dude was running 2 amps per sub strapped at .35ohms with a smaller than ideal box. Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

Yes I will be cutting out the rear deck and then reinforcing the rear. Edited May 3, 2012 by Chaosgrunt Quote
