Lexus IS-F plan B - wait, now plan C. (Pics inside)

So maybe this is a stupid question steve, but when you say isolated, are you going to seal off the sub facing the seat forcing the air through the rear seat pass thru and then a port in the deck?

Trying to understand, considering what we talked about at the shop the other day, you're making me reconsider what I was telling you I wanted to do. Can you shed some light for me please? I guess I could just wait and see the rest of what you do today!

I don't know if I missed a part of a build video or something, but wasn't there only one nitrous tank in the begining or was there two?

was one but my car kept feeling lop-sided, like it was pulling to the left. So i got another to match. I don't even use it too much but its nice to have it symmetrical in the trunk.

I'm a sucker for symmetry too!!

Build looks good man. As always!!

New build coming........

I saw some of the pics on Facebook and I'm doing a similar re-rebuild in my car, what is that under the motor? Just a block of wood? here is a pic of my box ( on it's back, checking fitment of the sub)

Steve,

I am getting ready to use the same amp in a crew cab build (12 frontier) and already have a jl xd400 for highs and mids. I am replacing my 500 cp with the 2500. What kind of electrically upgrades did you do with the Lexus? I've done none but wire upgrade with my current setup at 1 ohm and it struggles after 15 secs of sub 50 Hz...

Dang, if I tried to put one of those SMD 18" in my PT Cruiser, I'd have to install Nitrous just to have enough power to charge the batteries!

i think there real i was looking through that guys stuff he sells and it looks like he finds stuff at auctions and just sells it

Yea, it looks like someone got the mids about a month ago....shit. If I had a whole Hertz front stage my ears would jizz all over my cheeks.

Too bad there is so much metal in the way.Curious how much deadener will this car need don't know much about them.Im more into classic rides that have less computer control lol.Love the plans for this round and if history tells of a mans work. Then this should be outstanding! How much metal could be removed without any structural concerns or even possible handeling concerns.

Remove all the metal you want from behind the back seats or deck lid. Then simply replace it with a custom strut tower brace to tie it all back together.
