The more I read and the more you explain. The more complicated this build turns out. Which seems Ike all the build pics and so forth. Don't do the work you have done any justice.

ya bro i have definitely put a lot o

Ok stupid question. Do you use a eq? My friend swears by it and i shit you not he has his cd player up to close to 50 (max is 60) and uses the eq for his volume? He thinks he is loud as hell and puts me down with my little non eq system. I am running a 2010 kemwood deck. ( the best you can get before a dvd/navigation deck) a 1800 watt mono block amp and a ssa xcon 12inch d2 sub. 3 xs power batteries and a dc alt. My box was built from the ssa company and tuned at 32hrtz. Is a eq worth running?

yes, i use an eq. The 3sixty.3 is a 248 band parametric eq. (31x 8 )

an EQ is definitely worth running but only if you have enough experience to know that making a "smiley face" isn't "tuning" LOL

That's funny because my e.q. curves used to look like that. Now it looks kind of like a "~" with a spike down in the center. Damn ep2x and its 12db slope. And even though it not recommended i have a couple of freq's cut before they even hit the ep2x. Oh, well, whatever it takes. So hard to be loud and sound good when you have to cut 50 jillion things to get it leveled out. lol

Noob question. How dose the master knob control volume and everything else? If it was posted I'll go back a reread it. I probably will never have that many but how do all of them work together like that. I also don't understand how the bass q is controlled that way. Is it because of how the 3 sixty 3 works? Very clean work.

the master volume is just that. When it is used with the stock system, it actually has two master volumes since the original still works. But when i go bluetooth directly into the 3sixty, the master volume is the only volume button used. Same for optical and aux (not used at this time). The bluetooth in, off of my ipad, on some "spotify premium" @ 320k, sounds AWESOME. :D Of course the other ones are to control bass. I fiddle with them while i drive and don't even lift my arm up. Its like ninja-volume :ninja: I love them in that spot and nothing like drilling more holes in a brand new(ish) ISF

Do you even use the volume with the stock unit? I know most systems change the equalization with the volume control to flatten out the bass when you crank it to save your speakers tho I don't know if that's true with the Mark Levinson...

Rebuild. Less quiet. Still not loud.

Got my Mechman 270a alternator today :D Here is just a few pics of it. I might put it in next week and when i do, you know i will take pics and post a video. Right now, my stock alt charges @ 13.1-13.4v and that is weak. It is 180a stock so i will give it credit for that :D Anyway, this one should charge @ 15.2 cold and 14.9 hot. It benched @ 278a.

I cant add u to my friend list in you facebook but with your rear seat of your lex you should try to have a custom rear seat so you could have a hole in like a arm rest area. So maybe a little more air can flow threw. Not sure if it would matter much but just throwing out a idea.

already is a hole in the arm rest area. Just not a very big one.
