KillaCam
I just learned a few things from that video lol Quote And the fact more than one person agrees does not make it a circle jerk, it makes it a bukkake scene and you're in the middle Chick took 3 shots of Jager, and then, pissed in my mouth.. Quiet
Never would have occurred to me to run 6 phases to maximize efficiency and output. In the world of alternators, that one belongs in a museum LOL Quote 2007 Pacifica Rebuild. Less quiet. Still not loud.
Tim Lam
incredible build. love how you accented all the trim panels. how much was your voltage dropping on the stock alternator? whats the lowest you think it will drop to after the new alt? Pasta Prime
Nice alt Steve!! So how hard is it to change it out? dude. I haven't done it yet. Your guess is as good as mine. I was wondering where it was on the car but saw that post from earlier. Nice to have a lift isn't it? Quote New build coming........ Purplehaze
i believe the voltage is controlled at the alt, at the regulator......not the PCM. Sweet! Man, that is a really nice unit! I seen in the video where they also included an adjustable voltage boost module, that is kick-ass! Just when I think this build can't get any better, it does! meade916
It is installed! The only problem i ran into other then it being a PAIN IN THE ASS, was that the adjustable harness doesn't really work properly. The car is preventing it from changing i believe. I am working closely with Mechman to find out why. I sent them the stock alt and the harness back for some further research. It obviously benched @ 15+v before they shipped it, its just my car is being stubborn. I still got an extra half a volt out of it and of course, 100 extra amps (@ 278). Did i mention it was a BIOTCH? at least its done and i don't have to hear about my huge system and stock alt, even if it was 180a 1 Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! Purplehaze
Ahh bummer! Oh well, at least you got the hardest part done now! So do you think that maybe it is controlled by the PCM after all? If so, you could probably do the "diode trick", but on a $60K car, I personally would not do that... I would just hit up Chris, that is, if Mechman can't get it fixed up for ya. But hey I'm sure you are already on it, and don't need my $.02 Quote Kickin' Cruiser Seller Feedback Stage 3 Dash, Door Panels,4th Order wall 4 - 15'son a DC 5.0K 2 DC 5.0K'sSolo X 15 (v.2) Sub Build

Lbox88
I hate the new PMC/RVC alts. Just curious, does your voltage go up if you manually turn on your headlights or parking lights? Works for some vehicles to get another .5-1.5V, would be worth a try at least. Quote UBL | Build Log
