Yea I was wondering the same thing. What structure purpose is there to fiberglassing the inside or are u just using the mdf as a template to fiberglass then remove mdf to have a fiberglass box but wouldn't the sound waves be all messed up in one? Not trying to sound retarded, just never seen a inside fiberglass box before. Help me out here Steve.

FG = more strength + more sealed. Also I'm guessing the inside of the box will be smoothed and painted since you'll be able to see it.
