Lexus IS-F Sound System install - Custom SMD VM-1/OM-1/TM-1f Dash Piece (update page 71)

so all the sound will be in the cabin only through the armrest?

nope, a LOT of energy will come through the armrest (minus the metal that used to be in front of the arm rest)......but a lot of it will have to come through the seat. It will be good, i am confident. I think. LOL

great looking box, definetly like all the flush cuts and roundovers

thank you sir. :)

Very good job in this box (muito bom trabalho nesta caixa)

like

nice box steave. clean cuts and like how you rounded over all the edges including the port. dont ever see people do that around here.

thanks!! I always round over my slot-ports inside and out since its as close as i can get to a flared end without going crazy with it. It should work better then just a squared off edge like this.

oh and also, a lot of the shit you see here will never be seen. I rounded the box over and made it look good outa principle.....and because i was taking pics for the net. It will mostly all be buried in trim panels when i am done but at least I WILL know it looks as good inside as outside.

Agreed. The roundovers look great.

Definitely tuned into this one. It's so much more fun to be the guy watching the other guy cut into such a nice vehicle. lol

38hz seems a little high for your tastes Steve what with all the rap you like. I guess you can't make the port much longer in that box?
