yeah your most likely right or it just wasnt hooked up yet, never hurts to ask tho. wasnt trying to cause any arguement or anything. was just more curious then anything.

i really need to quit looking at pics trying to figure shit out when im so tired.

270 amp Mechman alt

2 12" Treo SSX custom built.

6.47 cu ft, tuned to 32Hz

2 hifonics Brutus 2400.1, strapped

1 optima yellow top

1 Kinetic HC1800

14.4v @ 29Hz, 2k RPM

over 100ft 1/0 XS flex wire

Big 3 in 1/0

100sq ft fatmat deadener

145.3 on music, 142.6 sealed on music

hey steve, on the pics of the subs being wired up i see that you have to grounds on the left side but not 2 on the right coil, where is the other ground running 2? and what ohms are you running that SMD at?

sorry bro but its pretty obvious in this pic that its wired parallel. safe to assume the other negative goes to the negative coil on the right side in the pic. hes probably running a dual 2 ohm so hes getting 1 ohm at the amp

true. It is in parallel. Its a dark box, its hard to see the wires clearly.

hey steve, on the pics of the subs being wired up i see that you have to grounds on the left side but not 2 on the right coil, where is the other ground running 2? and what ohms are you running that SMD at?

sorry bro but its pretty obvious in this pic that its wired parallel. safe to assume the other negative goes to the negative coil on the right side in the pic. hes probably running a dual 2 ohm so hes getting 1 ohm at the amp

true. It is in parallel. Its a dark box, its hard to see the wires clearly.

i am loving this build. Trunk cars are my favorite right now.

seems like a small box for a 15? maybe the sheer size of the motor is making it seem that way?

ya, its actually 4.2 (or .3 i forget) cubes. Thats a nice size box for an SMD 15.
