Lexus IS-F Sound System install - Custom SMD VM-1/OM-1/TM-1f Dash Piece (update page 71)

This is ABSOULTELY insane. I've been checking every single day waiting for it to be done and while it looks amazing, I still have to wait longer. But my curiosity is settled for now. Keep it up, I'll be tuned til the day you're finished.

Looks better than factory Steve! Amazing work.

You have me scratching my head how you held the plexi in place. I ended up using Zinc plated, Phillips head, Modified Truss, Lath Screws. Gives an interesting look. But no screws looks sick as hell!

Are you using Acrylic or Polycarbonate? I haven't been to Sacramento yet to go supply/parts shopping. Where do you get such great plexi? None worth buying in Yuba City area. Too thin.

Thanks Steve.

This install tops all the rest you have done! Mad props to the master!

I have a similar build going on with an aeroport and a few people said the port sould be 5-6'' away from the back wall.

Yours looks closer, is there any truth to the 5-6'' "rule"?
