I was going to take today off, but i couldn't do it.....installed the LED's today. I am glad i made it easier for myself by planning this thing out ahead of time. Remember the terminal strips i color coded for the RGB wires? well today they came into play. Didn't take that long at all and it all works perfect. There is 6 separate LED strips in different sections of the trunk. I just need one more piece of the puzzle, the rear plastic is getting wrapped in leather, and then it should all be done in the back! Suede inserts for the plexi holes too, but that's easy.

Trunk is mostly done, just need my "plugs" wrapped in black suede. I am having "is-F" (like the floor mats) embroidered in the plug that goes on the wall box and just black suede on the floor piece. For now, its done enough! Now i must move on to the mids and highs. More Rockford Fosgate T-5's on the way and i think i know what i want to do. Just watch!

installed a 4 zone temperature readout (and fan control) so i can see how hot the amp "chamber" is getting and monitor the effectiveness of the fans.They seem to do good!

The piece that covers the box is being embroidered right now. I am having "is-F" (the official logo) done to it. It is expensive because it is multi-layered with different "heights" of string. At 13" x 7" its a LOT of string

Still waiting on my Rockford Fosgate T5's to get here ( a couple more pair). In the meantime, i started my kick panels. To answer your question before you even ask, yes, i will make them kick-proof. They are indeed in the danger zone LOL, but i have plans for that. Anyhow, they are RF P3 Shallow 8's and will probably be crossed over at 90 and down. Possibly bandpassed from 40 to 90. On advice from Terry Soohoo, a legendary SQ expert i know (and owner of Paradyme, Sacramento), i am going to treat them more as subs and less as mid-bass. After the doors are done i get to have a serious tweak/tune session with him which will be phenominal! Anyhow, here is the progress so far.

I usually slop a layer of kitty hair over the top just so the weak layer of fiberglass below doesn't warp when i take it out. I grind it down and then put another layer or 2 of 19oz glass over it once it is out of the car
