Crandis16
Never have heard DC so I don't have a clue how they sound.Who knows if you do it right you could your parents into it.I got my mom into a new system and now she want subs too.As long as it's not space music as she calls it.Yes hobbies are good especially if it keeps you out of trouble lol.The bass bug is good The bass bug is good. I complained about my dad's truck. It has some cheapo aftermarket mids that I put in after we bought it because the speakers were blown. When I complained about his truck not having enough bass he was offended and attempted to prove to me how much bass those mids could produce by turning it up really loud lol. I think I will take my bazooka tube that I have left over from my last build and put it in there for him or to my little bro... both of which don't know anything about car audio. Crandis16
I'm still thinking about how I want to do my false floor, whether or not I want the spare to be accessible or not. I like your idea with the hinged door though, I gave that some thought too. What material are you using for the floor? I was suggested at least 5/8" material but I feel like 1/2" MDF or a douple layer of plywood could get the job done too. bondo... essentially the same thing as wood filler? Actually I didn't use a hinge on it. I wanted to be able to take it out compleatly.I used 1/2" mdf for my floor could have used something lighter material. But it worked out good.Bondo cures harder and could be used on more materials. As where using wood filler is only good for wood based products if I'm wrong someone correct me.Also I went over the drivers side panel with bono glass for more strength. dog24fret
Could anyone tell me what causes the foam to collapse in on itself. Like it did in the top left corner of the two cutout panel. It did that after setting overnight I tried to fix it by filling it up some just didn't fill in smooth. The headliner is new and the type of glue is forgot the name but the bottom is sprayed with 80 and the top is sprayed with 90 vinyl and foam spray glues.Hope someone can shed some light on this or ways to prevent it. dog24fret
Figured I show how hard it was to get the panels in.It goes in one way only and very tight almost too tight. The next step is to vinyl the rear cover that covers the back part of the trunk. Then do some final trimming and to figure out what to do with the trunk lid.
