BrandonT94
I just got on trade an older Majestic 60 watt 4 channel amp. The ground is bad on it but it comes on then back of. The amp does not have the screws for the power ground and remote like newer ones it just has an opening that has the wires coming out from them. Can this be fixed? Am I even correct that the ground is bad? Edited May 15, 2012 by BrandonT94

Kranny
x-whatever on redoing that ground. do it properly though, not like the previous owner did. thats a shit solder job to be honest. get a soldering vacuum plunger or however you'd like to remove as much solder from that spot as possible, clean up the hole really well with rubbing alcohol, stick new wire in, solder to board. you should be good to go then. BrandonT94
ok but how exactly do should I do it? edit: ok should the solder be in line with the silver like it is now? or does it matter? Kranny
well the wire should be going through a hole in the board for it to pass through, and get soldered. i dont really understand what you mean by it being in line with the silver trace thats there now. just put the wire in and solder it. thats a really fucked up solder job right there, so try not to duplicate that lol
