BassHead810 Posted May 20, 2012 Report Share Posted May 20, 2012 Hey guys, I'm new to SMD but not car audio. I'm just now gettin back into bass after about a 5 year break. I had 3 goals when i started my current build: (this is with 2 12w7's in a Mazda3 trunk) 1) 150+ db outlaw 2) 145+ db at 20hz or below (outlaw) 3) 150dB at the windshield legal I have a termlab and hope to share my results along the way. I've been working on this build for a couple months now and have done alot of testing with the TL. I just reached my first goal and I'm very close to my 2nd goal which you can see on my youtube channel. Quite a bit louder than my 2 12's i would assume. I've come along way since the first time i metered those subs in an old sealed box - 138 db. I'm gonna be doing some more sound deadening this week so we'll see how that turns out.
